Baccalaureate exams started in Moldova

Chisinau, 4 June /MOLDPRES/- High school graduates started baccalaureate exams today, over 3,000 foreign language pupils take the test in Romanian language and literature.
According to the program approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment, on 4-22 June 16,773 high school graduates will take baccalaureate exams starting today,4 June.
According to the program, the foreign language graduates will take the Romanian language and literature test on 4 June. The exam in the language of instruction follows on 8 June; 11 June - foreign language test;15 June - exams in mathematics, Romanian and universal history, arts, sports;18 June - on-demand test (geography, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, Romanian and universal history, computer science); 22 June - exams in Ukrainian / Bulgarian / Gagauz language and literature.
16,773 candidates are registered at baccalaureate exam. Among them, graduates of theoretical high schools are 11,094, graduates of colleges / centers of excellence - 5,121, of universities - 203, external candidates - 355. This year's exams will take place in 93 Baccalaureate Centers.
