About 3,000 people immunized with second dose at vaccination marathon in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ - About 3,000 people were immunized with the second dose of anti-COVID vaccine at the vaccination marathon held at the Palace of the Republic from the Moldovan capital on 20 June.

According to the Chisinau city hall, about 3,000 people were vaccinated with second dose and 235 - with the first dose at the marathon for the second dose (dose II with Pfizer and Sinovac, following the event from 28-30 May), organized by the local authorities and the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry.

More than 5,500 people were immunized at the vaccination marathon in Chisinau on 28-30 May.

The immunization campaign started in Moldova on 2 March 2011 and 621,711 people have been vaccinated so far.
