As many as 92 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 23 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,323 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 92 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which two import ones. As many as 256,324 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), no cases of infection are registered among medical employees.

As many as 151 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 41 are in extremely serious condition (eight patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 646 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,653 are under supervision at home.

Another 62 people have been treated. As many as 249,312 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,178 people have died of coronavirus in all.
