Over 1,000 children rested in day camps in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 25 June /MOLDPRES/- About 1,000 children from the capital rested this summer in day camps, organized on the basis of primary and secondary education institutions, cycle I and II, on 7-25 June. The second stage will take place on 28 June - 16 July. A total of 1,070 children will attend the profile camps.

According to the capital's city hall, in the summer season 2021, the rest of the pupils from Chisinau was organized only on the basis of day camps, at a capacity of 50%, given the pandemic situation.

For the summer season, the municipal authorities organized eight sports camps, 13 vocational camps within extracurricular institutions, 12 with a day stay based on primary and secondary education institutions, cycle I, II. For the organization of the activities, 2.05 million lei were allocated from the municipal budget.
