Worker from Telenesti over whom bank collapsed rescued by firemen

Chisinau, 7 July /MOLDPRES/- IGSU employees from the Telenesti Rescue and Fire Unit intervened yesterday to rescue a 47-year-old man, over whom a bank of earth collapsed while digging a sewer.
According to IGSU data, the incident took place on a construction site in Telenesti.
A crew of firemen intervened on the spot and rescued the man trapped underground. He was later picked up by an ambulance with fractures in both legs.
IGSU statistics show that, in the last 24 hours, firemen and rescuers have intervened in 48 risk situations.
