Drinking water to be distributed in trolley buses from Moldovan capital at request

Chisinau, 28 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Electric Transport Administration (RTEC) has informed that, on the period of hot weather, the trolley buses would be provided with drinking water, due to be offered to passengers at request.   

The measure taken by the municipal officials is meant to help passengers. The high air temperatures of the last days create enhanced thermal discomfort for the daily activity and may trigger health problems.

The drinking water can be asked from the staff of the trolley buses during the travel – conductors of drivers or at the terminus station of the transport means.

The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has issued a Yellow Code of hot weather for 28 July – 1 August. On this period, the maximal air temperature will increase up to +35 Celsius degrees.  

Given the conditions of high air temperatures, specialists urge residents to avoid bathing in the sun, especially between 11:00 and 17:00 and hydrate properly. At the same time, citizens are advised to avoid physical effort and put on clothes made of natural linen, which provide the body better ventilation.
