Moldovan PM meets Latvian foreign minister

Chisnau, 17 August /MOLDPRES/- The Moldovan-Latvian cooperation was examined at a meeting between Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs, who is on an official visit to Moldova, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The Prime Minister noted the dynamics of Moldovan-Latvian bilateral relations and expressed his gratitude for the technical assistance provided to Moldova by the Government of Latvia in the context of promoting the country's modernization reforms, including through bilateral projects.
At the same time, the efficient cooperation at the level of local public administrations was approached, so far being signed several collaboration agreements between the local public administrations from the Republic of Moldova and localities / regions from Latvia.
The sides also discussed the intensification of the pace of trade and economic exchanges. Natalia Gavrilița encouraged the participation of Latvian companies in the activity of Free Economic Zones, Industrial Parks of the Republic of Moldova.
