Deputy premier visits three settlements from eastern district of Moldova

Chisinau, 22 August /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Vlad Kulminski, along with the head of the Reintegration Policies Bureau, Alin Gvidiani, have paid a working visit to the village of Cosnita, eastern Dubasari district, where they met the district head, representatives of the local public administration, residents and economic agents of the region, owners of farmland placed beyond the Rabnita-Tiraspol highway, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
At the event, the deputy prime minister informed about the priority directions of activity of Moldova’s government, among which the promotion of coherent policies in the field of the country’s reintegration and enhancing the attractiveness of the right bank of Dniester for the citizens from the left bank as a result of implementation of sustainable development projects.
The sides tackled more pressing problems faced by the residents, entrepreneurs and farmers owning farmlands. Among them, there is also the subject of the thorough control at the crossing of the internal customs checkpoints. Representatives of the Customs Service and State Fiscal Service were involved in the discussions. The sides agreed on the holding, in the near time, of a new inter-institutional working meeting, in order to analyze in detail the essence of the issue and generate options of settlement, with making, as case may be, needed adjustings to the normative framework in force.
Subsequently, the deputy prime minister paid a fact-collecting visit to the settlements Cocieri and Molovata Noua. Vlad Kulminski was here informed about the topical problems faced in these settlements and the work of the principal institutions (kindergartens, schools, community centres, medical institutions). The sides highlighted opportunities of promoting new development and modernization projects, with social impact on the community.
In the context, the deputy prime minister for reintegration emphasized the need of a permanent cooperation for solving the current problems and developing new strategic projects (for instance, the opening of a Multifunctional Centre in the Cosnita village, launch of the Parata subzone of the Balti Free Economic Zone). Kulminski also expressed the openness of the cabinet and the Reintegration Policies Bureau to provide constant support for the achievement of the jointly set goals.
