As many as 731 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 5,935 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 731 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 591 among non-vaccinated people.12 out of these cases are import ones. As many as 273,056 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 8 out of all cases of infection are among medical employees (7 medical assistants, 1 -auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,331 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 127 are in extremely serious condition and 15 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 3,186 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,654 are under supervision at home.

Another 642 people have been treated. As many as 261,150 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 12 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,478 people have died of coronavirus in all.
