Vasile Alecsandri National Theatre from Balti to open 65th season

Chisinau, 8 October /MOLDPRES/ - The 65th season of the Vasile Alecsandri National Theatre from Balti opens today at 18:00.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the acting director general of the theatre, Onorina Burlac-Tanase, said that, this time, the theatre presented a play staged with the support of the Embassy of the United States, according to the science fiction novel 451º Fahrenheit by Ray Bradbury.  “Where they burn books, they will also ultimately burn people.” (Heinrich Heine) – this is the motto of the play,’’ the acting director of the institution also said.
