Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/- During the state of emergency in public health, all citizens, except minors, are required to have an identity document, a copy or a photocopy in digital format of the document, while in all closed and open public spaces, including transport public. The decision was taken by the Extraordinary National Commission for Public Health (CNESP).

According to the CNESP decision, starting with October 15, 2021, citizens will be able to download online the COVID-19 Certificate, which includes: the vaccination certificate, the test certificate and the recovery certificate, from the page: certificate-covid.gov.md. Its model was approved on October 8, within the Extraordinary National Commission for Public Health and will be issued through the Automated Information System Register of vaccination against COVID-19, based on data submitted by medical institutions.

The COVID-19 digital certificate facilitates the free movement at national and international level, in safe conditions, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The document will be available for free download and will be available in Romanian and English. This is official evidence that the person has been vaccinated against COVID-19, tested or had COVID-19 and is cured.

At the same time, when presenting the COVID Certificate, citizens will have to prove the possession of an identity document, a copy or a photocopy in digital format.

Also, the COVID Certificate issued on the territory of another state, based on the model of the issuing country, must be presented in Romanian, English, French, German, Italian or Russian.
