Moldovan cabinet decided to release 16.5 thousand tons of fuel oil from state reserve

Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/- Cabinet members at today's meeting approved a decision on release of fuel oil from the state reserves.

Under the Law on State Reserves and Mobilization, as well as in order to resolve the exceptional situation - alert situation on the natural gas market in the Republic of Moldova, the Cabinet of Ministers decided that the Material Reserves Agency to release from the state reserves, as unlocking, to Termoelectrica company the amount of 16,500 tons of fuel oil.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs, at the elaboration of the draft state budget for 2022 will submit proposals to the Ministry of Finance on necessary allocations for filling the state reserve with the amount of fuel oil released.

The decision will enter into force upon publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.
