MPs held minute of silence in memory of Moldovan painter

Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/- At the beginning of today's plenary session, officials held a minute of silence in memory of painter Valentina Rusu-Ciobanu, who passed away on November 1, at the age of 101.
The funeral of the plastic artist will take place tomorrow, a day that was declared by the decree of the President of the country, a day of national mourning.
Valentina Rusu-Ciobanu was born on October 28, 1920, in Chisinau, and was one of the most famous and beloved visual artists in the Republic of Moldova.
