As many as 447 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 7 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,934 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 447 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Four out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 345,964 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 5 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (2 physicians, 2 medical assistants, 1 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,950 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 189 are in extremely serious condition and 10 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 8,629 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 12,411 are under supervision at home.

Another 897 people have been treated. As many as 324,893 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 43 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,099 people have died of coronavirus in all.
