COVID vaccination certificates issued by Moldova to be recognized in EU

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - The COVID-19 vaccination certificates issued by the health authorities of Moldova, Georgia, New Zealand and Serbia will be recognized in the European Union.
European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi has made statements to this effect before the ministerial meeting of the Eastern Partnership.
According to the EU official, the COVID certificates issued by the four countries will be accepted in the same conditions as the EU’s COVID Digital Certificate.
Forty nine countries have been connected to the EU COVID digital certificate system so far.
According to the Health Ministry, as many as 1,567,828 doses of vaccine have been administered in Moldova till present and 901,961 people were immunized with the full scheme.
