As many as 956 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,470 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 956 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Nine out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 353,778 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 21 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (6 physicians, 6 medical assistance and 9 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 2,456 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 299 are in extremely serious condition and 35 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 7,328 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 11,649 are under supervision at home.

Another 913 people have been treated. As many as 333,622 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 54 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,549 people have died of coronavirus in all.
