Superior Council of Magistracy approved investigation, detention of two judges

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/- The Superior Council of Magistracy today approved the request of acting General Prosecutor Dumitru Robu on detention, search and arrest of two judges.
Robu's request was examined behind closed doors, and the names of the magistrates were not made public.
At the last meeting of the CSM, Dumitru Robu also requested the consent of the Council for conducting searches regarding a judge suspected of illicit enrichment.
Today's decision of the CSM can be appealed to the Supreme Court of Justice within 30 days.
