As many as 544 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,902 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 544 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Five out of the new cases are import. Thus, 359,401 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 21 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (4 physicians, 12 medical assistants, 5 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 1,534 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 130 are in extremely serious condition and 15 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 5,072 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 10,736 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,313 people have been treated. As many as 342,356 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 46 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 8,915 people have died of coronavirus in all.
