Accident Investigation Bureau to be set up in Moldova

Chisinau, 9 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- Today MPs adopted a draft law that provides for creation of an Accident Investigation Bureau in the second reading.
Under the document, the Bureau will be a central administrative authority, subordinated to the Government, meant to organize the technical investigation into the safety of transport events to determine the causes and circumstances in which they occurred and to issue safety recommendations.
Director General and deputy heads of the Bureau shall be appointed and removed by the government.
The draft aims at adjsuting national legal framework with the EU norms.
