Moldovan Presidency inaugurates Christmas Tree, opens doors for people willing to see it

Chisinau, 11 December /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s Presidency on 10 December inaugurated the Christmas Tree – an event in which all employees of the institution and their children participated, the presidential press service has reported.

„I was happy to be acquainted with the children of the Presidency colleagues, from the smallest to the oldest ones. We coloured together toys and decorated the Christmas Tree. Santa Claus helped us turn on the lights of the holiday Tree. Children sang and danced and we admired them,’’ said President Maia Sandu, the host of the holiday.    

Attending the event were also the spouses Adam and Tamara Begu, teachers from the Tohatin commune, Chisinau municipality, who donated the Christmas Tree to the presidential institution. The tree grew in the yard of the teaches during 23 years and now it will be the symbol of the winter holidays at the Presidency.

The Presidency’s doors will be open for all people willing to admire the Christmas Tree and make a picture with it starting from Monday till Friday during 17:00-18:00 and during 12:00-13:00 on Saturday.
