Chisinau budget for 2022 voted in first reading

Chisinau, Dec. 16 / MOLDPRES /- The Chisinau Municipal Council voted yesterday in first reading on the draft municipal budget for 2022.

In the draft budget are provided revenues in the amount of 5,428,871.6 thousand lei, including transfers from the state budget - 2,905,617.4 thousand lei, and in the chapter of expenditures is established the amount of 6,608,444.0 thousand lei. The budget deficit amounts to 1,179,572 thousand lei.

The project was voted by 36 municipal councilors, of which 21 from PSRM, 13 from the DA Platform Party, one councilor from PDM and another from PCRM. PAS and PL councilors voted against, and Shor councilors and independent councilor Victor Bunescu abstained. PUN councilor Cornel Pântea was not in the room at the time of voting.
