Consignment of AstraZeneca vaccine brought to Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 5 January /MOLDPRES/ - The National Public Health Agency (ANSP) today received a consignment of 14,400 doses of Vaxzevria vaccine, produced by AstraZeneca. The doses were donated through the COVAX platform.

According to ANSP, the doses will be distributed proportionally to all vaccination centres of Moldova.

So far, Moldova has received 584,500 doses of Vaxzevria vaccine, of which 122, 400 through the COVAX platform. As many as 1, 784, 626 doses of anti-COVOD-19 vaccine have been administered in Moldova since the beginning of the immunization campaign.
