Moldovan conductor celebrates birthday today

Chisinau, Feb. 4 / MOLDPRES /- Maestro Petre Neamțu, People's Artist, first conductor of the Folk Music Orchestra Folklore of the National Philharmonic Serghei Lunchevici, university professor, winner of the National Award, celebrates his birthday today.
In 1989 Petre Neamțu became Artist Emeritus of the Republic of Moldova.
In 1993 the master was awarded the Civic Merit medal, and in 2000 - Labor Glory Order. In 2010 the conductor Petre Neamțu was awarded the honorary title People's Artist, and in 2021 he was awarded the National Prize, "for outstanding achievements in promoting the folk treasure and developing the national music field."
