Two IGP employees detained for corruption

Chisinau, Feb. 4 / MOLDPRES /- Two IGP employees have been detained for corruption. They were denounced by a citizen from whom they extorted money in order not to document a road accident.
The law enforcement officers demanded and received 8,500 lei, in order not to document an alleged road accident occurred in December 2021.
Thus, on February 3, the intermediary and one of the police employees were detained in a fragrant crime, at the time of the transmission of the money worth 6,500 lei.
The two police officers were detained for 72 hours.
