As many as 3,037 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 6 February /MOLDPRES/- A number of 10,728 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 3,037 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 15 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 467,271 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 175 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (43 physicians, 86 medical assistants, 46 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 2,895 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 239 are in extremely serious condition and 44 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 25,859 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 23,481 are under supervision at home.

Another 4,542 people have been treated. As many as 407,139 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 13 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 10,768 people have died of coronavirus in all.
