As many as 2,871 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/- A number of 13,330 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 2,871 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 15 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 477,419 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 165 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (55 physicians, 72 medical assistants, 38 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 3,030 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 228 are in extremely serious condition and 37 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 22,905 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 22,905 are under supervision at home.

Another 4,931 people have been treated. As many as 423,937 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 29 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 10,866 people have died of coronavirus in all.
