National reading promotion campaign launched in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Ion Creanga National Library for Children today launched online a national campaign on promoting reading, Let’s Read Together!, the 11th issue.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the library’s director, Eugenia Bejan, said the campaign’s goal was to promote reading in Moldova’s villages and cities. Two books will be promoted at this edition.

The campaign will be carried out all over Moldova on the period February-December 2022 and will involve pupils of the primary schools and gymnasiums, as well as adults (parents, grandparents, teachers, librarians). It will include diverse activities of the books proposed, meetings with authors, organized in libraries and education institutions.
