Over 2,000 drivers fined for traffic violations on weekend

Chisinau, 14 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- On weekend throughout the country, the patrol officers carried out actions to find drivers who violate the law. As a result, 2,000 drivers were fined.
According to the National Public Safety Inspectorate, over the weekend, law enforcement officers fined 1,286 drivers for exceeding the speed limit, 147 drivers did not give legal priority to pedestrians.
During the same period, 45 drunk drivers were found and removed from the management of the transport unit by the patrol officers.
