Several hectares of vegetation destroyed by flames near Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 15 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- Several hectares of vegetation were extinguished by firefighters near the Balkan highway and Liviu Deleanu street in the capital.
According to IGSU data, the fire burned the dry grass on an area of over 10 hectares. Two teams of firefighters were sent to the scene and located the burning. No casualties were reported in the fire. The circumstances of the case are yet to be determined.
In this context, IGSU warns citizens not to light dry vegetation and household waste, as in low wind and low humidity conditions, these outbreaks can spread rapidly.
