As many as 1,129 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 7,714 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,129 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 5 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 500,144 COVID cases have been recorded so far.

Health Ministry (MS), 38 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (9 physicians, 16 medical assistants, 13 auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,370 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 126 are in extremely serious condition and 21 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 9,625 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 11,767 are under supervision at home.

Another 1,279 people have been treated. As many as 473,540 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 14 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 11,185 people have died of coronavirus in all.
