Norms of expenses in cash for maintaining people accommodated in Moldova's social institutions to be indexed by 13.94 per cent in 2022

Chisinau, 9 March /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved the indexation of the norms of expenses in cash for maintaining people accommodated in social institutions. The norms refer to the supply with food products, medicines, clothes, footwear, hygienic and sanitary products, toys.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the indexation suggested will be related to the consumer prices index for the previous year. According to data by the National Statistics Bureau for December 2021, the consumer prices index was 13.94 per cent.

The decision’s provisions enter into force on 1 April 2022 and are applicable for the social institutions of all types and levels. The financial means necessary for implementing the draft are stipulated in the state budget law for 2022.
