As many as 372 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,814 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 372 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 9 out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 510,206 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

According to the Health Ministry (MS), 10 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (5 physicians, 3 medical assistant, 2 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 426 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 50 are in extremely serious condition and 6 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 1,995 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 5,024 are under supervision at home.

Another 623 people have been treated. As many as 494,420 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 3 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 11,381 people have died of coronavirus in all.
