Moldovan parliament ratified new agreement with EBRD

Chisinau, March 24 / MOLDPRES /- Parliament ratified today Loan Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in order to carry out the Energy Efficiency in the Republic of Moldova Project.

Thus, Moldova will access an external state loan from the EBRD, worth 30 million euros, for the energy rehabilitation of the real estate fund.

Priority will be given to low-energy public buildings owned or managed by central and local public authorities, with a focus on social institutions.

The loan will be disbursed in two installments - 20 million euros and 10 million euros each.

The duration of the project implementation is planned for the period 2022-2025.
