Moldovan MPs made amendments to Civil Procedure Code

Chisinau, 14 April /MOLDPRES/- MPs adopted amending the Civil Procedure Code of Moldova at today's plenary session.
The draft sees to exclude the obligation of the institution of judicial mediation. According to the authors, the amendments are meant to eliminate procedural bottlenecks related to the complication and delay of litigation, caused by the ineffectiveness of the pre-litigation method.
According to statistics, in 2018 - 2021, out of the total number of 43,487 judicial mediation lawsuits, only 2.6% were completed by concluding a transaction.
