Discover Moldova's Finest project launched at foreign ministry

Chisinau, April 15 / MOLDPRES /- Discover Moldova's Finest economic diplomacy project was launched at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, an event attended by Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and several members of the diplomatic staff accredited to Chisinau, MAEIE press service has reported.

This initiative is part of the 4D (European Development, Dialogue, Diaspora and Economic Diplomacy) agenda of the foreign policy promoted for 2022.

Popescu said that given the current situation, in which the impact of the war has left a dramatic impact on our imports and exports, economic diplomacy has become a vital priority for our country.

"We intend to contribute to the development of the country's economy and the identification of new destinations for the export of products from the Republic of Moldova," he said.

The project consists of events in which local producers will have the opportunity to present and promote their products to honorary ambassadors and consuls of Moldova, inviting the diplomatic corps to build as many "economic bridges" between business people in our countries.

The fulfilment of the project will take place in cooperation with the profile associations that will ensure the delegation of the participating companies.

I would like to thank them for participating in the inauguration event of the fruit-growing companies "Fresh Time", delegated by the Association of Fruit Producers and Exporters Moldova Fruct, the juice and canning company "Orhei-Vit", delegated by the Association of Fruit Producers Canned "Speranța-Con" as well as the Château Vartely winery, a member of the National Office of Vine and Wine ", he said.
