Over 6,400 foreigners applied for asylum in Moldova

Chisinau, 18 April /MOLDPRES/- On 24 February -18 April the Migration and Asylum Office has got 6,277 asylum applications.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 387,213 Ukrainian citizens entered Moldova, 289,200 left and 91,495 Ukrainian citizens remained.
In total, there are currently 95,158 foreign nationals on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, of which 48,157 are minors (Ukrainian and other nationals who have entered the MD-AU segment).
