As many as 112 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,984 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 112 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Thus, 516,699 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

As many as 234 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 39 are in extremely serious condition, 5 subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 875 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 1,095 are under supervision at home.

Another 164 people have been treated. As many as 503,763 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of 2 new deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and 11,487 people have died of COVID-19 in all.
