About 380 first grade classes scheduled in high schools in Chisinau

Chisinau, April 20 / MOLDPRES /- For the school year 2022-2023, Chisinau municipality has scheduled over 380 first grade classes, which will have 10,300 pupils.

Deputy Mayor Angela Cutasevici said that by April 18, through the online platform e-scoala.chisinau.md, 6,094 applications had been submitted for the enrollment of school-age children in the first grade. "For 2022-2023, in the 140 educational institutions, including private ones, we have planned 389 classes for a staff of about 10,300 pupils," Cutasevici said.

According to the Regulation on the enrollment of children in the first grade, all children in the corresponding school district who have reached the age of 7 by the beginning of the school year are compulsorily enrolled in school.
