ANSP specialists reported 15 cases of seasonal flu

Chisinau, 20 April /MOLDPES/- Last week specialists of the National Public Health Agency (ANSP) registered 15 cases of seasonal flu, including 11 in Chisinau.
One case of influenza was registered in Falesti, Orhei, Rezina and Ungheni. A total of seven people were hospitalized. Most cases have been reported in adolescents.
During this period, 153 samples of influenza, non-influenza and SARS-CoV-2 viruses were investigated in ANSP laboratories, in one sample the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus was confirmed, and in five samples - of influenza viruses (AH3N2–4 and type A - 1).
