Moldovan MPs made amendments to state budget law for 2022

Chisinau, 5 May /MOLDPRES/- The state budget law for 2022 has been rectified. The draft amendment was adopted today in the second reading with 56 votes.

Thus, the state budget revenues were increased from 50.066 billion lei up to 52.701 billion lei (+ 5.3%), and expenses - from 65.202 billion lei up to 72.087 billion lei (+ 10.6%). Respectively, the state budget deficit increased from 15.136 billion lei up to 19.386 billion lei (+ 28.1%). The budget deficit is to be covered by both external and internal sources.

According to the estimates of the Ministry of Finance, the share of state debt in GDP in late 2022 will not exceed 37.3%, the balance of state debt as of December 31, 2022 will reach 102.1 billion lei.
