Moldovan parliament amended law on compulsory health insurance funds for 2022

Chisinau, 5 May /MOLDPRES/- Parliament today adopted a draft amendment to the Law on Compulsory Health Insurance Funds for 2022 (FAOAM) in second reading.

According to the document, the revenues of the Compulsory Health Insurance Funds are over 12 billion lei, up by 86087.9 thousand lei (0.7%) than the approved plan.

At the same time, the volume of FAOAM expenditures for 2022 was increased by 331,087.9 thousand lei (2.7%) compared to the approved amount and amounts to 12,618,688.9 thousand lei.

The budget deficit of the Compulsory Health Insurance Funds amounts to 245 million lei and is proposed to be covered from the balance of financial means at the beginning of the year, in the amount of 674,689.8 thousand lei.
