Chisinau Zoo marked 44 years since founding

Chisinau, May 10 / MOLDPRES /- Chisinau Zoo marked 44 years since its founding. There are currently over 1,000 animals and birds in the garden.
The territory of the Chisinau Zoo has been expanded from 8 hectares to 25 hectares at present, and in the last two years new spaces and aviaries have been rebuilt and modernized, access roads, green spaces, new gazebos and playgrounds have been repaired and arranged.
According to the Chisinau city hall, weekly visits and activities are organized for various groups of children.
Statistics show that annually, the Zoo is visited by about 300 thousand people.
