About 15,000 patients called for ambulance last week

Chisinau, May 17 / MOLDPRES /- Emergency medical teams have provided first aid to 14,970 people last week.

According to the National Center for Prehospital Emergency Medical Care / CNAMUP /, the medical care teams intervened in 3,297 patients with cardiovascular diseases, out of which 58 patients with acute coronary syndrome; 2,155 citizens with respiratory emergencies and 2,071 people with neurological pathologies, including 257 patients with strokes.

At the same time, an ambulance was requested for 1,495 people with various injuries, including 424 children. Among the patients who received emergency medical care were 49 people with intoxications, including 19 drug and alcohol intoxications.
