Law enforcement, SIS officers raided former head of state

Chisinau, May 24 / MOLDPRES /- Anticorruption prosecutors, jointly with CNA and SIS raided today the home of former President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon. Prosecutor for Communications of the General Prosecutor's Office Mariana Cherpec provided the information.
The searches are carried out also at other locations, real estate owned by intermediaries, within the criminal case started based on the reasonable suspicion of committing the crime provided by Article 324 (passive corruption) Art.181 / 2 (accepting the financing of the political party by a criminal organization), Art.337 (treason) and Art.330 / 2 (illicit enrichment).
