Chisinau, May 24 / MOLDPRES /- Representatives of the Public Service Agency (ASP) will be on a mission to the United States on 24 May -2 July. Together with officials of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Washington, they will travel to densely populated Moldovan towns, which are a considerable distance from the diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Moldova, to provide them with documentation services.
According to ASP, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, who are in the United States of America and who need to renew their passports, identity cards, as well as to obtain civil status documents (birth certificates, marriage certificates, duplicates thereof) , will be able to call on the services provided by the mobile team of the Agency, in several American localities.
It is about New York: May 24-25, 9 am-6pm (local time); Boston: May 27, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m .; Chicago: May 29 - June 3, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m .; Seattle: June 7-9, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m .; Sacramento: June 12-14, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m .; Las Vegas: June 17-18, 8 am-5pm; Dallas: June 21, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m .; Pensacola: June 23, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m .; Orlando: June 26-27, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m .; Asheville: June 29-30, 8 am-5pm; Atlanta: July 2, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Previously, population documentation services with identity documents could not be provided on the spot, as diplomatic missions did not have mobile equipment to retrieve the necessary biometric data. Thus, the citizens were obliged to appear in person at the embassy headquarters in order to submit the applications for obtaining the identity documents. "Thanks to ASP's mobile equipment, Moldovan citizens in the United States will be able to complete their identity documents on the spot," a statement of the Public Service Agency reads.
The addresses of the locations, days and times of receipt of applications can be accessed on the official pages of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the United States of America and the United Mexican States and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
