Over 7,600 foreigners applied for asylum in Moldova

Chisinau, May 30 / MOLDPRES /- On 24 February - 29 May 7,673 citizens applied for asylum in the Migration and Asylum Office.
According to the Ministry of Interior, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 438,589 Ukrainian citizens entered the territory of our country, about 346,292 left and 79,259 remained.
Currently, on the territory of the Republic of Moldova are 82,947 foreign citizens (citizens of Ukraine and other nationalities).
