Yellow Code of strong wind forecast in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has forecast a Yellow Code of strong wind for 22 June.

According to meteorologists, the north-western wind will gust to 15-20 metres/second on 22 June.

In these conditions, rescuers recommend avoiding places where there are dry trees or objects which pose risks of collapsing or electric wires.

SHS said that the weather would cool on the days to come, with a day-time air temperature of +26 Celsius degrees. At night, the air temperature will be +16 degrees.

In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena are usual for Moldova; yet, they may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
