Women canoeists from Moldova win silver medals at championship in Belgrade

Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/ - The double, Daniela Cociu-Maria Olarasu, has won gold medals at the distance of 200 metres at the Under-23 Canoe Spring European Championships held in Belgrade, the National Olympic and Sports National Committee (CNOS) reported.
The sportswomen won the silver medal at 500 metres.
In individual events, Maria Olarasu got silver at 500 metres and Daniela Cociu – bronze at 200 metres. As for the ranking according to medals, Moldova is on the ninth position.
