Moldovan parliament turns down simple motion against finance minister

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today turned down a simple motion against Finance Minister Dumitru Budianschi.  

Dumitru Budianschi gave a speech at the parliament’s rostrum, in which he presented the ministry’s current work. Subsequently, the members of the parliamentary factions intervened with questions and speeches. Following the discussions, most lawmakers spoke out against the motion.  

The simple motion was filed by 26 MPs from the parliamentary faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists. Under the parliament’s regulation, simple motions are adopted with the votes of the majority of the lawmakers present at the meeting.
