Moldova's Fiscal Service collects 27 billion lei in first half of 2022

Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/ - The revenues in the National Public Budget, managed by the State Fiscal Service (SFS), amounted to 27 billion lei (1.35 billion euros) in the first six months of this year. This is by 4,426.7 million lei more or up by 19.6 per cent against the same period of the year before.
According to SFS, 12.1 billion lei was collected in the state budget in 2022, which is by 2,520.9 million lei more against the same period of 2021, or up by 26.3 per cent.
„Revenues worth about 2.9 billion lei were registered in the local budgets, which is by 410.7 million lei more against the same period of the previous year or up by 16.4 per cent. Also, on the aforementioned period, 9 billion lei was collected in the state social insurances budget, which is up by about 1,142.5 million lei against the same period of the last year or by 14.5 per cent more,’’ the State Fiscal Service said.
At the same time, three billion lei was collected in the mandatory health insurances accounts, which is by 352.6 million lei more against the same period of 2021 or up by 13.3 per cent.
